I have always found it easier to manage a household with only one sex in it, hence I have seldom been tempted to keep a male. However, I do have a soft spot for them, Golden boys are so soppy and know how to get under your skin!
Having lost our dear
Riley (Caoimhin Cadhla from Drumkilty - by Flyngalee Tigers Eye ex Caoimhin Alannah) aged 15 years at the end of August 2012, I have decided that until I retire I will not keep another male.
Our first male was Scarholme Mickey Finn with Caoimhin (Ch/ Ir Ch Papeta Philosopher ex Blaelochside Dream-maker to Scarholme), owned in partnership with his breeder Jackie Sparrow. Finn was the sweetest dog ever and I had a lot of fun in the ring with him.
